The main thing we want students to know is that you are not alone and you should not suffer. This page was created as a resource for students who need help and are afraid to speak out in person.
Listed below are the counselors at JFK who are always willing to help. If you are not comfortable with speaking to a counselor, or you consider it too close to home, various services are listed. The services are confidential, none of the information comes back to Mr. Plotts or Mr. Yasin. It is more important that you receive the help you need. We tried to choose services that allow you to text or chat online.

They help teens deal with distress through unique, peer support groups that leverage social media to provide constant contact and anonymity in a safe teen-only community, breaking the isolation and shame cycles.
